Boulder Couple Shares a Passion for Viticulture and Winemaking

  • Rick Bakas, Back to Bakas, made time to visit Settembre Cellars prior to departing Colorado for his new position in Napa. We discussed the vineyard and winery and also tasted our 2008 Riesling, 2007 Syrah, and 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon. It was really a treat to chat with Rick and present our wines to such a well respected food & wine blogger.

Colorado's Front Range Wine Scene

  • Claire Walter, Culinary Colorado Blog, was in attendance at a wine tasting event which included Settembre Cellars. Glenn Donharl organized the Rosé tasting in which he included our 2007 Sangiovese Rosato along with Rosé wines from Spain, Italy, France, and Argentina. It was exciting to have our wine included in a blind tasting! We paired our wine with a recipe introduced to us by Blake's sister: a salsa with black beans, mango, avocado, and queso blanco.
